Forest department failed to catch leopard- Ludhiana

 A day after the leopard was spotted at Centra Greens Society on Pakhowal Road in Ludhiana, footprints of the animal have been found in a plot near another residential area. Officials of the Forest and Wildlife Protection Department said that despite efforts, the leopard escaped capture.

  Range Officer Pritpal Singh said that he had received information about the sighting of a leopard in Dev Colony on Pakhowal Road this morning. On reaching the area, footprints of a leopard were seen in a plot. About 20 workers are working to catch the leopard. But so far, the administration has failed to catch the leopard.
