Ludhiana: To provide "effective, transparent and accountable" governance to the people, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday launched the "Bhagwant Mann Sarkar, Tuhadde Dwar" scheme to provide 43 citizen-centric services.  started  People at your door.

  According to a government statement issued in Ludhiana, the services include birth/NAC certificate, addition of name to birth certificate, multiple copies of death certificate, amendment of entry in birth certificate, issuance of death/NAC certificate, multiple copies of birth certificate,  Correction of entry in late registration birth certificate, late registration death certificate and death certificate (health), income certificate, affidavit, verification of income record, certified copies of registered and unregistered documents (duplication service).  

It suggested that services include non-encumbrance certificates, equity entry of mortgages, individual generation, countersigning of documents, compensation bonds, border area certificates, backward area certificates, land marking, NRI signing of documents.  Includes counter signing documents.  Police Clearance Certificate and Coastal Area Certificate (Goods), Stipend to Children of Beneficiaries, Registration of Construction Laborer and Renewal of Construction Laborer (Labour), Residence Certificate (Labor), Scheduled Caste Certificate and BC Certificate.  

Officials said in a statement that the scheme will not only increase the convenience of the people but will also bring about transparency, efficiency and elimination of middlemen in citizen-centric governance.  

It added that citizens can avail the DSD service through both Seva Kendras and dedicated helpline number 1076 from today onwards from December 10 2023.

Important Update About 'Tuhade Dwar' initiative

Following the launch of the 'Bhagwant Maan Sarkar, Tuhade Dwar' initiative aimed at delivering 43 services directly to people's doorstep, around 350 appointment slots have been reserved so far till December 11.
