Congress MP Dheeraj Sahu is in trouble, Rs 250 crore found in IT raid

Raids are going on since December 6

 IT sleuths first raided BDPL on December 6 on charges of tax evasion and later searched the premises of Baldev Sahu and Group of Companies from where they claimed to have recovered 156 bags of cash.

 Counting of recovered notes worth up to Rs 50 crore was completed by Wednesday evening, but the process was halted due to malfunction of counting machines, sources said, adding that the seized cash was taken to the SBI branch in Balangir, where it was kept under tight security.  were counting.
