The suspense regarding the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh ended, Vishnudev Sai's name is selected in the legislature party meeting

Vishnudev Sai has been elected as the new Chief Minister of the Chhattisgarh. An important meeting of 54 newly elected MLAs of Bharatiya Janata Party was held on Sunday at the BJP office in Raipur to elect the leader of the legislative party. The name of Vishnudev Sai was approved in the meeting. 

 After the name of Vishnu Dev Sai is finalized, his fans are celebrating. Leaders including workers were seen dancing to the tune of the drum. BJP workers celebrated outside the Kushabhau Thackeray complex by bursting firecrackers with musical instruments. Sai will be the first tribal Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh. Although former CM Ajit Jogi is said to be the first tribal CM of the state, his case related to it is pending in the court.

   Vishnu Dev Sai is considered a big leader of the tribal society.  Vishnudev Sai is a big name because he has been MP four times, MLA twice, Union Minister of State and State President twice.  Along with this, he also has long experience of working in the organization.  He has also won the Kunkuri seat in the assembly elections in the year 2023.  Even after being removed from the post of State President, he remained continuously associated with the party.

   Started political journey in 1989

   He started his political journey in 1989.  At first he was a village Panch.  Were associated with the Sangh.  In 1990, the Bharatiya Janata Party expressed confidence in him and gave him the MLA ticket from Tapkara assembly constituency, in which he won.  After this, he was also elected MP from Raigarh Lok Sabha constituency for three consecutive terms.  He has been MP for three consecutive terms from 1999 to 2014.
