Stock markets ended marginally lower, with Sensex still above 69,500, Nifty above 20,900 and Bank Nifty above 46800
On Thursday, BSE Sensex fell almost 132 points to close at 69,521.69, while NSE Nifty managed to stay above 20,900 and slipped 37 points to close at 20,901.15
Looks like the positive trend of the market has just ended.

Indus Towers, Adani Green- Energy, Zydus Life Sciences were the top gainer stocks from the Large cap category. And Bharti Airtel, Hindustan Unilever, Godrej Consumer were the top loser stocks.
Mid cap Stocks
If We talk about the mid cap category Tata Power did well seeing a sharp jump of 10.76%, Adani Total Gas and Torrent Power were the other top performing stocks today. And Aditya Birla Capital, IDFC First Bank and Bank of India were the top loser stocks.
BANK Nifty performance
Out of total 12 stocks of Bank Nifty, 8 stocks closed in the green today, indicating gainers for the day and 4 stocks were losers on December 07, 2023.
Bank Nifty top performing stocks of one week
Talking about the top performing shares of one week, ICICI Bank increased by 6.18%, SBI Bank by 7.28%, Bandhan Bank by 6.49%, PNB Bank by 9.85%, Bank of Baroda by 6.85%, Axis Bank by 5.45%. Most of the bank stocks outperformed after the Legislative Assembly election results on 03 December 2023.
