Jailed leader, sent to PGI for back pain, was spotted dancing at a wedding.
पीठ दर्द के कारण पीजीआई भेजे गए जेल में बंद नेता को एक शादी में डांस करते देखा गया।
A Youth Congress leader, Sarvotam Singh, who had been lodged in Ludhiana central jail due to reported back issues, was sent to PGI Chandigarh for a medical examination. However, instead of undergoing the recommended MRI, Singh was later seen dancing at a wedding in Hissowal village, triggering a significant controversy.
This incident led to the suspension of two police officers, Sub-Inspector Mangal Singh and Assistant Sub-Inspector Kuldeep Singh, involved in escorting Singh. Following the viral video of Singh dancing, Ludhiana Police Commissioner Kuldeep Singh Chahal initiated an inquiry involving various officials, including the jail doctor, to uncover the circumstances behind Singh's unauthorized detour to the wedding.
Questions arose regarding the authenticity of Singh's health claims, the actuality of his visit to PGI, and the extent to which jail officials, including the doctor, were involved in facilitating his unexpected attendance at the wedding. The investigation aims to clarify how and why Singh was diverted from the medical procedure to participate in the wedding celebration despite his reported back problems.
